You’re Doing the Work.
Now Do It Together.

Too many organizations are doing important, powerful work—in isolation.

The result? Duplicated efforts. Missed opportunities. Slower progress.

The Virtuous Ecosystem (VE) brings nonprofit leaders together to coordinate engagement across zip codes, learn from one another, and act as a unified force—so the impact matches the urgency of the problem.

Who It’s For

The VE collective is for executive directors of nonprofits committed to ending gun violence in Chicago, not as an end, but a means to peace, prosperity, and the promise of longer life expectancies for residents on the South and West sides of Chicago’s underserved, under-resourced communities. They are::

  • Actively working to reduce gun violence in Chicago

  • Lead organizations serving high-risk individuals and communities

  • Are open to sharing insights, strategies, and challenges

  • Believe collaboration—not competition—is the path to impact

How It Works

  • Regular Executive Sessions
Structured, high-value conversations focused on real challenges and opportunities.

  • Peer-to-Peer Exchange
Ongoing communication and collaboration between sessions.

  • Shared Insight + Strategy
Exchange ideas, data, and approaches that improve outcomes across organizations.

  • Action-Oriented
Every session leads to clear next steps—not just discussion.

The Commitment

This is not a passive network.

The VE collective requires:

  • Showing up consistently

  • Speaking openly

  • Sharing what you know

  • Acting on what you learn

In return, you gain a group of peers and thought partners—and access to a network of corporate professionals—equally committed to your success as a leader.
